NFS Export Configuration Troubleshooting

• Check the Nexfs logfile for "gfs_jsonnfsloadconf, failed to parse nfs config json" error messages indicating the JSON configuration file is malformed

​

• Make sure that the path specified for all exports exist, check the Nexfs logfile for "gfs_generatenfsexports, cannot stat requested nfs export XX, error No such file or directory, excluded from exports"

​​

• Use an online JSON editor such as codebeautify to verify that the JSON request file that fails to load is formatted valid JSON

​

• Check the expected configuration has been loaded using nexfscli nfs getexports

​

• View the live exports using the Linux command exportfs -v​

​

• Check that NFS export configuration is enabled

​

• Use the forum to ask the nexfs community for help
